September Luxe Box
I am quite behind on posting, so you'll have to forgive my laziness. I received my first Luxe Box back in September, and was pleasantly surprised at what I recieved.
Mereadesso Face + Neck Toning Gel, Laura Mercier Perfecting Water Rich, Moroccan oil Treatment and City Lips Plumping Gloss.
Truthfully, I have yet to try the toning gel and perfecting water, but did get a chance to try out the City Lips gloss and Moroccan Oil. I really like the Moroccan Oil, because it tames my frizz (which is a big problem in winter) and smells quite lovely. I have been using City Lips daily, and there has been a slight change. The gloss did plump my lips, but very, very slightly. Also, when I wear the gloss, it makes my lips quite red, so I usually wear it at night, right before bedtime.

What's inside my purse?
I got my lovely purse from here. I thought I would share the contents of my purse!
I swear, normally I only use 1 lipgloss/balm but somehow I have accumulated 5. The 2 on the left are City Lips (from my September Luxe Box) and Hard Candy. Both are lip plumping, though I have been using City Lips daily just to see if they make a difference (the Hard Candy one makes my lips tingly, but hardly plump them). The 2 on the upper right are both Revlon. The bottom one is Korres Lip Butter Glaze, which makes my lips very soft (I use this one the most!).
I love to have blotting sheets on me at all times, since I tend to get a bit oily after a certain point. I really like these Shiseido Pureness Oil-Control Blotting Papers
! They seem to put powder on your face as opposed to just aborbing oil.
I have just bought paper soap though I have only used it once so far, it has a very lovely cranberry scent once dissolved. I carry hand cream since my hands can get dry (this one comes in a lip gloss like tube which I think is cute, but also very tricky). I also like to carry Cake Beauty Satin Sugar Hair & Body Refreshing Powder (available at Sephora and E-Beauty) and my Sephora pop-up brush (this one is quite old but you can get a similar one here). I have been using a sample of Burberry Body but I don't get to wear it alot and I don't really like the scent so far.
Domo-kun change purse that safeguards change. Sometimes I like carrying change, other times it feels like a hassle.
I have a new card case, specifically a JILL by JILLSTUART Multi Case that came with the November issue of SPRiNG (a Japanese fashion magazine).
I have been toting these Bach Rescue Remedy Pastilles around to fight stress, though they are quite hard to chew and you aren't supposed to have alot since they have a mild laxative effect.
For hand sanitizing, I don't like to use gels as they are very drying, so I use Preven's Paris Antiseptic Wipes (you can also use them to clean objects).
I really like this Stride Spark Gum Kinetic Mint since it has important B vitamins, and I really like the novelty of vitamin gum (though I don't rely on the gum for vitamins, it's very neat to have). Right underneath is my case for vitamins (and a few vitamins inside).
This Korilakkuma Solar Charge eco for iPhone is super cute, handy and great for sunny days, though it can only carry about a 45 minute charge at a time. I really like Korillakkuma!
My IPod is primarily used for music and games. I usually have a case for it, but it got pretty heavy so I just left it off for now.
Emergen-C Super Energy Booster Instant Drink Mix Acai Berry for an energy boost. It is quite stinky though!
Well, there you have it! All the contents of my purse. The contents as well as the purse change from time to time, so I will definitely update once it changes again.
What do you keep in your bag or purse?

Ooku
I recently bought Ooku: The inner chambers volume 1. I kinda love it. It's about an alternative Edo-era where the male population of Japan is scarce, and the society becomes matriarchal. Traditional male jobs are taken by women, including shogun. Within the shogun's castle, thousands of men toil behind the scenes, serving not only as administrators, but as a harem. When a new shogun takes over 80 years after the first infected boy dies, the monetary wastefulness of the ooku is shed in an effort to "rerelease" these highly desired men back into the general population. At volume's end, the shogun is determined to learn how the epidemic came to pass and the subsequent elevation of women in Japan.
Ooku is being developed into a live action film, due in September. It will star Kazunari Ninomiya <3
In fact, I have a promo of the movie!
Looks interesting, right?
Speaking of interesting, I have also been playing Hotel Dusk. I know it's old, but old games are just the right price for me now. (>_<")
If you have any game recommendations, shoot me a comment!

Hachiko
I have watched the Richard Gere version of Hachiko.
For those of you who don't know, it's based on a true story:
Hachiko, an Akita dog in Japan, sets an example for loyalty by waiting patiently for its master’s return from work in a railway station. It did this routine for 11 years every day.
The Akita breed dog, Hachikō was born or November 10, 1923 and died March 8, 1935. It is known in Japanese as 忠犬 ハチ公 (chūken hachikō, lit. 'faithful dog Hachikō'). It is remembered fondly in Japan for its intense loyalty.
In 1924, Hachiko was brought to Tokyo by its master Hidesamuro Ueno, a professor in the agricultural department at the University of Tokyo. When Hachiko’s master went to work, it greeted him off at the front door, and when his master came back from work he usually went to the nearest railway station and waited for him there. It used to do this as a routine every day. However, his master died a year later in May 1925, but Hachiko kept this routine and waited for its master at the station for the next 11 years until its death in 1935.
So naturally, I bawled like a baby. Especially when Hachi and the Professor were getting acquainted.
So cute! My favorite scene was when Hachi was surrounded by dancers. The movie has some beautiful shots, and the story is incredibly moving.
However, now that I have seen this version directed by Lasse Hallström, I want to watch the original.
If you know where I can find it, please leave me a comment! <3
The last movie I watched in theatres was Clash of the Titans. Even though I defended it, thinking about it now, it was an okay movie. There were no real memorable scenes, and the acting was super cheesy. I probably got defensive because of my bff. Haha. She completely hated it, and she was vocal about it. Ah, to be fair, she totally loved Hot Tub Time Machine. She can surprise me sometimes~
What have you watched lately?
